Cope will be in the kitchen, as well, if Cannon isn’t available. “If you’re cruising through the Plaza and (the restaurant) is packed or you have your dog with you, you can just walk up and grab a slice and go,” Cope said.Ĭannon hails from Pachinko Parlor, but he has experience in a pizza kitchen. The 1,887-square-foot restaurant also has a 1,000-square-foot patio next door, making it the perfect place for a pizza-by-the-slice window. “Then when this became available, it was like we were supposed to be here.” “I never found a space I really loved,” she said. The restaurant that won the contest couldn’t put their plan into action, so the space was still empty. A lot of ideas were submitted, and Cope and Cannon made it to the final five to possibly occupy the space.īut their idea fell through and they lost the contest – or so they thought. ![]()
